CPI seeks fair aid for flood-hit families
Chandigarh, Sept. 22 -- The 25th national conference of the Communist Party of India (CPI) began on Sunday with a rally in Mohali wherein the democratic and Left forces were asked to unite to "save democracy, Constitution and secularism".
The speakers sought substantial relief for the flood-affected people.
CPI general secretary D Raja expressed solidarity with the victims of the Punjab floods.
