Gurugram, July 15 -- Self-styled cow vigilante Raj Kumar, alias Bittu Bajrangi-one of the prime accused in last year's communal violence during the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra in Nuh-was placed under house arrest in Faridabad till Monday night to prevent his participation in this year's procession. Two armed personnel were deployed outside his residence after police denied him permission to attend the yatra. Bajrangi had approached the Punjab and Haryana high court last week seeking urgent approval to join the event, but no hearing was scheduled. He later submitted an undertaking to Nuh and Faridabad police, stating he would refrain from making provocative statements or uploading controversial content online, but his request was still declined. The move followed the alleged vandalism of a shrine in Sainipura, Tauru, Sunday , suspected by officials to be an attempt to disturb peace. Over 2,500 police personnel were deployed across Nuh, with drone surveillance and CCTV monitoring set up at sensitive locations. htc...
