Panchkula, Nov. 28 -- Students of Classes 9 to 12 of CL DAV Public School, Sector 11, went on an enriching one-day educational tour to Kasauli on November 17. The trip aimed to provide experiential learning, exposure to heritage sites, and a refreshing break from routine academics. Students assembled at the school early in the morning and departed shortly after. Upon reaching Kasauli, they enjoyed a wholesome breakfast at the Kasauli Resort, which energised them for the day's activities. The highlight of the tour was the trek to Manki Point, the highest peak in Kasauli, situated around 4 km from the main town. Students visited the famous Hanuman Temple, believed to be connected to the Ramayana. The trek allowed them to connect with nature, appreciate the serene surroundings, and understand the cultural significance of the site. Students later enjoyed lunch followed by a lively DJ session at the resort, adding fun and excitement to the day. The tour concluded on a joyful note with students returning to the school with cherished memories.
