Panchkula, Jan. 22 -- Chaman Lal DAV Senior Public School, Sector 11, Panchkula organised a one-day teachers' capacity-building workshop on January 9 with a focus on strengthening teaching-learning practices, especially in the field of science education. The workshop was conducted by eminent resource persons Neetu Jhatta and Dr Jeesu Jaskanwar Singh. The programme began with the formal introduction of the resource persons and a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, tokens were presented to the resource persons by Venue Director and host school principal Dr Mamta Goel. The workshop featured well-structured and interactive sessions on the teaching-learning of science, Bloom's Taxonomy and educational objectives, 21st-century competencies, experiential learning, lesson planning, and assessment. Teachers actively participated in discussions and activities, gaining practical insights and strategies to enhance classroom effectiveness and student engagement.
