Gurugram, May 22 -- Haryana's Directorate of Urban Local Bodies (DULB) has raised concerns over many unresolved complaints made to various civic bodies, specially the Gurugram and Manesar municipal corporations, officials said.
Many pending complaints have originated from top offices, including the chief minister's office (CMO) and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), highlighting critical delays in submitting inquiry and action-taken reports, they added.
In a memorandum issued on May 20, the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies emphasised the urgent need of resolving these issues promptly. The memo instructs municipal commissioners to provide Action Taken Reports (ATRs) and inquiry findings ahead of a crucial review meeting with CM Nayab Singh Saini on May 28. Failure to comply, according to the directive, would result in escalating the matter to higher administrative authorities, officials said.
One significant unresolved issue for the Gurugram MC involves a complaint filed by Manish Kumar, alleging illegal modifications to the No Dues Certificate (NDC) portal, reportedly continuing since April 1, 2023, despite the officer responsible for it being transferred. This issue remains unresolved despite eight formal reminders.
