India, Oct. 1 -- Deported, they are done and dusted with the dollar dream. They endured the donkey route of dangerous treks and degrading experiences with the only hope of improving their family's financial situation. Their families sold land and took loans only to be pushed further into debt and poverty from a failed migration attempt. Six months on, Hindustan Times finds many of the deportees have learnt their lesson the hard way and are struggling to recover the money back from dubious travel agents to start life all over again....
