Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- Amit Kumar, commissioner, Chandigarh municipal corporation (MC) accompanied by concerned officials of the MC and Ward No. 8 councillor Harjeet Singh, conducted an extensive visit to Mauli Jagran and Makhan Majra to take stock of ongoing development works and address pending issues of the area. During the inspection, councillor Harjeet Singh briefed the commissioner about various long-pending works in the ward. He highlighted the condition of the dirty drain and requested its concrete construction. He also pointed out two to three internal streets in Mauli Jagran that remain incomplete. In Raipur Kalan, the demand for a new tubewell and a park was raised, along with the requirement of CCTV cameras for all three villages of Ward No. 8.
