Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- Gangster Goldy Brar has accused his former ally Lawrence Bishnoi of orchestrating the murder of a close confidante and warned him of retribution, according to an audio clip that went viral on social media. The clip set off alarm bells within the police force and exposed the deepening fractures within the once-feared Bishnoi-Brar syndicate, which began to come undone after Lawrence's brother Anmol was arrested in the United States last November. In the two-minute clip, Brar accuses Bishnoi of "cheating" Inderpreet Singh, known as Perry, who was gunned down in Chandigarh on Monday evening. "Lawrence, you have made the biggest mistake and cheated Perry. His mother used to serve you food and treated you as her son. What was his fault? He was a close friend of both of us," he is heard saying in Punjabi. HT could not independently verify the authenticity of the clip. Brar said Lawrence called Perry on Monday and invited him to Sector 26 in Chandigarh on the pretext of a conversation. He added that Lawrence told Perry he could not speak freely over the phone, and that an associate would carry a secure line during the Sector 26 meeting. See P2 & HT CHANDIGARH...
