Chandigarh, Dec. 26 -- The Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) has announced the schedule for its upcoming elections, which will be held on January 25, 2026, with the counting of votes and declaration of results scheduled for January 26. According to the election notice issued by returning officer Gurinderjit Singh Sandhu, IAS (Retd.), the process will begin with the filing of nominations from January 3, starting at 10 am. The last date for submission of nomination papers is January 9 till 5 pm. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on January 10 at 11 am, while candidates will have time to withdraw their nominations until 5 pm on January 11. Polling will be conducted on Sunday, January 25, beginning at 11 am and concluding at 4.30 pm. The counting of votes will commence at 9 am on January 26, followed by the formal announcement of results. Nomination forms will be available at the club office and reception from January 2 to January 9, between 10 am and 5 pm.
