Panchkula, Jan. 9 -- DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, reopened after the winter break with renewed vigor and enthusiasm to begin the academic session on a positive note. To enhance joyful and effective teaching practices, a CBSE training workshop titled "Happy Classroom" was organised for all teachers of the school. The workshop was conducted by the distinguished resource person Anupama Sharma, a National Award winner ,a certified CBSE trainer, and an educationist who highlighted the importance of emotional well-being in classrooms. She encouraged teachers to reduce unrealistic expectations, avoid labelling children, remain positive, actively engage students, and manage their emotions effectively. The session also focused on understanding good behaviour and addressing challenging behaviour with empathy. Sharma shared several practical toolkits and strategies to create, nurture, and spread happiness in classrooms, fostering a supportive and stress-free learning environment. The interactive workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from all faculty members. The initiative reaffirmed the school's commitment to holistic education and joyful learning.
