Mohali, Nov. 29 -- A 38-year-old man died after a car allegedly hit his motorcycle near Furniture Road, Baltana, on Wednesday night. The deceased Shankar, who worked as a caterer, was travelling with his friend Tony when the accident occurred. As per the complaint filed by Shankar's brother, the bike was struck by a car bearing registration number CH-04-E-6207. He added that the car driver initially said he would pay for the victims' treatment but fled the spot Locals took the duo to civil hospital, where Shankar succumbed to his injuries.
