Ambala Cantt, May 30 -- The SD Vidya School hosted a capacity building programme on artificial intelligence (AI) on Thursday. The session was led by resource persons Sanjay Tyagi and Jaspreet Singh, who provided insights into the evolving landscape of AI in education. As many as 60 teachers attended the workshop. The event commenced with a welcome, followed by lamp lighting and the presentation of token of gratitude to the resource persons by director-principal Neelinderjeet Kaur Sandhu. Vandana Sharma, senior wing director, and Anuroop Jouhal, primary wing director and toddlers' wing coordinator, were also present. The resource persons underscored the growing importance of AI in education, emphasising the need for digital fluency among educators. They highlighted how AI can personalise learning, track students' progress, and serve as a support tool-not a replacement-for teachers. The session included hands-on demonstrations and practical strategies for integrating AI to enhance teaching effectiveness and classroom engagement.
