Ludhiana, Dec. 31 -- Burglars struck a medical store in the busy Lakkar Bazar area and decamped with Rs.2 lakh after uprooting the shop's shutter in the early hours of Monday. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed outside the shop. The burglary took place at Takkar Medical Store. The shop owner, Gurpreet Singh Takkar, said unknown miscreants forcibly broke open the shutter and entered the shop, from where they stole a substantial amount of cash kept inside.
