BSF troops seize four drones, 1kg heroin
AMRITSAR, Nov. 24 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday recovered four drones and 1kg of heroin in two separate operations in the border areas of Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts.
"In an intelligence-backed operation, BSF troops recovered one drone DJI Mavic 3 Classic concealed in an agricultural field near the border village Khemkaran in Tarn Taran district," the BSF spokesperson said.
"Another operation, based on specific information by the BSF intelligence wing, the troops recovered one packet of heroin weighing 1.120 kg from the area of Mode village in Amritsar district," he said. BSF troops, with the support of robust technical countermeasures, successfully neutralized and seized three drones on Sunday along the border in Amritsar district. The BSF troops neutralised and recovered three drones, including two DJI Mavic 3 Classic and one DJI Mavic 4 PRO drone, from the areas near villages Roranwala Khurd and Dhanoe Khurd, and from the premises of ICP Attari, said the spokesperson....
