BSF recovers pistol near Amritsar border
Amritsar, June 9 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) troops recovered a pistol from an irrigated paddy field near Havelian village in Amritsar in the early hours of Sunday.
The weapon, which was found in a rusted condition, is presumed to have been dropped a few days ago.
Earlier on June 7, BSF and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) conducted a well-coordinated, precise intelligence-based joint operation that led to the significant apprehension of three outlaws andthe seizure of six pistols near an area adjacent to Khalsa College in Amritsar on Friday evening.
