Brookfield hosts disaster mgmt training for teachers
Mohali, July 3 -- Prioritising the safety and well-being of students, Brookfield International School, located on Siswan Road, Kurali, organised a comprehensive and specialised training session on disaster management for its educators.
This initiative aims to foster a secure and creative learning environment for students.
The training not only focused on techniques to protect oneself during emergencies but also emphasised methods to save the lives of others effectively. The session was conducted by two renowned experts. First expert was Meghna Vohra, PGT Economics at KVM Ludhiana and CBSE Trainer, who shared her vast experience and provided valuable insights related to disaster management.
Second Urvashi Bhatia, an internationally certified trainer and expert in disaster management and communication skills, who taught practical strategies to strengthen the preparedness of teachers.
Manav Singla, president of Brookfield International School, highlighted, that the safety of students and staff is their foremost responsibility. This disaster management training equips teachers with invaluable resources and the confidence to act effectively during emergencies. A well-prepared and alert team guarantees a safe and inspiring learning environment.
