Chandigarh, March 5 -- The city's temperatures are expected to rise from today with the Western Disturbance (WD) having passed the region, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. As per officials, the maximum temperature is likely to start rising sharply and may go up to 30degC by the end of the week. Due to cool winds from Himachal Pradesh, the maximum temperature dropped from 27.9degC on Monday to 25.3degC on Tuesday, 0.2 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature rose from 11.3degC on Monday to 14.1degC on Tuesday, 1.6 degrees above normal.
