Panchkula, May 28 -- Students of Class 11 and 12 from Blue Bird High School, Sector-16, embarked on an enriching educational trip to the Government Museum and Art Gallery Sector-10, Chandigarh. The visit was organised to foster appreciation for art, culture, and heritage among students and to provide experiential learning beyond the classroom. The group, accompanied by their teachers, took a scenic route via Sukhna Lake, where they spent some time enjoying the serene surroundings and engaging in informal discussions about the lake's history and environmental significance. At the art museum, the students explored various galleries showcasing Indian miniature paintings, Gandhara sculptures, and contemporary artworks. The museum's curated exhibits offered deep insights into India's artistic legacy and helped students understand the evolution of art through different historical periods. Teachers guided the students throughout the visit, highlighting the importance of visual arts in education and how it complements creativity and critical thinking.
