Panchkula, Jan. 7 -- In compliance with the guidelines issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Blue Bird High School observed Veer Bal Diwas on December 26, 2025 with great reverence and enthusiasm. The morning assembly began with a speech, highlighting the courage, strong faith and martyrdom of four Sahibzadas, which emphasizes sensitizing students about the courage, sacrifice and moral strength of the Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh. Various student-centric activities such as speeches, storytelling, poster making, essay writing, and poem recitation were conducted from Classes Kindergarten to 12 to help students understand the supreme sacrifice made by the Sahibzadas at a young age. Educational videos and discussions were also organised to reinforce the message of bravery, resilience and standing up for righteousness. The school has also shown the live streaming programme from Bharat Mandapam. The activities encouraged reflection on values such as courage, faith, compassion, and patriotism, aligning with the objectives laid down by CBSE. The principal Vandna Bhatnagar emphasised that such activities play a vital role in nurturing responsible, aware and value-driven citizens.
