Blue Bird High School kids celebrate Raksha Bandhan
Panchkula, Aug. 15 -- Raksha Bandhan, a festival that celebrates the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, was celebrated at Blue Bird High School. The celebration began with a special morning assembly where students spoke about the significance and history of Raksha Bandhan.
Students from the primary section enthusiastically showcased their creativity through beautifully crafted Rakhis and they have also tied their Rakhis to the trees to protect and preserve them, symbolising a bond of care and responsibility toward nature. The school has also organised Tiranga Rakhi making workshops and competition to dispatch the rakhis to soldiers and police personnels, spreading the message of mutual respect, care, and protection beyond familial boundaries. The principal Vandna Bhatnagar emphasised that festival like Raksha Bandhan is a wonderful opportunity to reinforce cultural traditions while promoting message of peace....
