Panchkula, May 13 -- The 164th birth anniversary of Gurudev - Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervour in premises of Blue Bird High School. The students paid a tribute to the Nobel Laureate and legend through an informative special assembly. They enlightened the fellow students with information about his contributions to the fields of art, education, music and literature. They also recited his famous poems. Continuing the celebration, the pupils of Classes 8, 9 and 10 drew sketches of Tagore with a quotation from him. The students presented speeches, songs, paintings etc. It was a pleasure watching excited, energetic children during these activities....
