PANCHKULA, Feb. 24 -- An awareness session on Positive Mental Health and Gender & Cultural Sensitivity was conducted at Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, on February 23 for students of Classes 8 to 10 and the teachers. The session aimed to promote emotional well-being, inclusivity, and mutual respect within the school community. The program was organised as part of the Central Board of Secondary Education Hub and Spoke School Program, under the rotary co-pilot initiative, and as a part of the school's manodarpan club initiative. The session was led by mental wellness and care chairman Dr Ramneek Sharma, Dr Colonel Raj Sharma, Dr Geeteshwar Dewan (neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist) and Dr Aarzoo Chawla (child psychiatrist) The experts highlighted emotional resilience, stress management, adolescent mental health challenges, and the importance of gender and cultural sensitivity.
