Chandigarh, Dec. 17 -- Karan Gilhotra, chairman of the Punjab chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), was on Tuesday appointed as a member of the state advisory committee of Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) for 2026. HTC Amritsar police on Tuesday claimed to have recovered 53 stolen vehicles during a special drive conducted across all three police zones of the city. Amritsar commissioner of police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said a total of 20 FIRs were registered during the drive, leading to the recovery of two-wheelers and four-wheelers: "The total recovery includes 27 scooters, 22 motorcycles, two cars and two trucks."HTC Vajra Corps celebrated Vijay Diwas on Tuesday to commemorate the historic victory of the Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 war against Pakistan.
