Chandigarh, May 16 -- With only four days left till the city goes to polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pressed into service around 500 party workers from other states into a mass voter connect programme in Chandigarh.

Party workers from states like Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi, which also includes leader of opposition in Delhi state assembly Vijender Gupta, are being put into supervisory roles to oversee the direct voter connect."After PM Narendra Modi'srally, now, the campaign focus has been shifted from rallies to direct contact with the voters through door-to-door campaign," said a senior party leader pleading anonymity.
