Bipartisan bill on H-1B visas; Lutnick sees changes by Feb
New York/Washington, Oct. 1 -- The top Republican and Democrat on the US Senate Judiciary Committee has introduced legislation to tighten rules on the H-1B and L-1 worker visa programmes, targeting what they called loopholes and abuse by major employers. The bill tightens rules using measures such as raising wage and hiring standards.
