Mohali, Dec. 1 -- In no respite from street crime, another Zirakpur resident fell prey to snatchers on Saturday. According to the complainant, she was on her way to meet her daughter near Shiva Enclave when two men on a motorcycle approached her and snatched her gold chain, before fleeing. The woman informed the police, stating that the assailants targeted her when the area was relatively less crowded. She said she could not jot down the vehicle number due to the high speed. Based on her statement, Zirakpur police registered a case. Police said they were reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area to trace the route taken by the suspects. In a similar case, on November 13, two motorcycle-borne men made off with a female scooterist's gold chain in broad daylight near Sonu Sweets on Bhagat Road in Zirakpur.HTC...
