Darbhanga, May 28 -- A special court in Darbhanga on Tuesday sentenced Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Mishri Lal Yadav and his aide Suresh Yadav to two years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs.1 lakh each in connection with a January 2019 assault case. District and additional sessions judge cum special judge Suman Kumar Diwakar was hearing an appeal filed by Umesh Mishra who sought enhanced punishment for the convicts.
