Chandigarh, Feb. 15 -- Led by brilliant bowling from left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed in the second innings, Bengal carved out an impressive 48-run win over Punjab in their last league Ranji Trophy match at Dhruv Pandove Stadium in Patiala on Friday. With this win, Bengal notched six points and also entered the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals, knocking out Punjab from the competition.

Punjab, needing 190 runs for victory in the second innings, faltered in their run chase to be bowled out for 141, handing the visitors a 48-run victory.
