Dugri, Sept. 11 -- BCM School resonated with pride as it honoured Rama Munjal, founder of Arpita Cancer Society, on receiving the Punjab State Award, conferred by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Independence Day for her contribution to healthcare, education, environment and social welfare. The occasion was attended by Prem Kumar (Executive Director, BCMF), Anuradha Kumar and principals of sister concerns. Munjal was accorded a musical welcome and a thunderous applause. Extending a warm welcome, Vandna Shahi,the School Principal, highlighted how Rama has been giving back to society in manifold ways. She shared that every year on her birthday, Munjal plants saplings equal to her age as a tribute to nature. A video presentation beautifully traced the inspiring journey of the guest of the day, leaving everyone deeply moved.
