Basant Panchami celebrations at DC Montessori
Chandigarh, Feb. 4 -- Invoking the blessings of goddess Saraswati, DC Montessori Senior Secondary Smart School celebrated Basant Panchami. The kindergarten section participated. The event commenced with the Saraswati Vandana chanting, followed by the tiny tots offering garlands and prasad to the goddess. A feature was the yellow display, as both students and teachers dressed in the colour, symbolising nature's brilliance and life's vibrancy. Adorning tilaks, they relished the prasad together, strengthening the spirit of unity and devotion. Adding to the festive spirit, students brought food items and learned about the day's significance through a session in the assembly. A highlight was the traditional kite-flying competition for senior students held in the playground. Principal Vishali Kaushal extended her wishes to all, applauding the students' efforts.
