Chandigarh, July 2 -- Banyan Tree School celebrated International Day of Yoga 2025 by organising Yoga Sangam-a mass yoga demonstration on its campus in the early hours of June 21. The event witnessed participation from students of Class 5 to 12, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and members of the local community, reinforcing the theme of unity through wellness. The yoga session, conducted from 6.30 am to 7.45 am, followed the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) prescribed by the Union ministry of AYUSH, ensuring a harmonious and synchronised yoga performance. Participants, dressed in comfortable yoga attire, gathered in large numbers, embodying the spirit of discipline, mindfulness, and holistic health. The event aimed to promote the integration of yoga into daily life for physical and mental well-being, to celebrate India's rich cultural heritage through collective participation and to support the government's mission of conducting yoga at 1,00,000 locations nationwide. The school campus resonated with the calm and positive energy of the participants, as students and community members came together to honour this global initiative.
