Bank of India inaugurates branches at Kurali, Lalru
Chandigarh, Jan. 5 -- UT information technology secretary Hari Kallikkat, a 2018-batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, has been transferred to Delhi with immediate effect. Kallikkat, who had joined the Chandigarh administration in September 2023, was also holding the charge of CICTO managing director, additional chief electoral officer and Agricultural Marketing Board secretary. According to the order issued by the ministry of home affairs today, Syed Abid Rashid Shah, a 2012-batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Chandigarh. Besides this, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, IPS officer of 2010 batch, has also been transferred from Delhi to Chandigarh.htc
Bank of India has inaugurated its new branches at Kurali and Lalru. Field general manager Anil Verma, present during the inauguration ceremony, emphasised the bank's commitment to serving society, including preserving the environment. Deputy general manager Vaibhav Anand extended his support for serving the society through banking services. With the completion of 120 years, the bank said it has taken a step towards a greener environment by planting 120 trees in collaboration with the local community.htc

The calendar, which has been conceptualised and compiled by state information commissioner, Punjab, Harpreet Sandhu, presents a vivid and comprehensive visual narrative of Punjab's rich cultural heritage, sacred religious legacy, agricultural ethos and pristine natural landscapes.
