DHARAMSHALA, March 24 -- A US-returned 69-year-old Tibetan man who died at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Tanda, tested positive for COVID-19 in the preliminary test, district authorities said on Monday.

"The Tibetan who died at RPGMC has been tested positive for COVID-19 in the preliminary test. The final report is expected at 10pm ," said deputy commissioner Rakesh Kumar Prajapati.

The victim landed in Delhi on March 15 and arrived in Dharamshala on March 21 in a taxi. Prajapati said that the man was in self-quarantine.
