Rohtak, April 30 -- An auto-rickshaw driver was allegedly stabbed by two passengers for demanding Rs.40 travel fare in Sonepat on Wednesday, police said. Victim Anil Kumar said that he ferries passengers in his auto from the Singhu border to Sonepat every day. On Wednesday, when he asked the two passengers for fare near Nathupur turn, they started abusing him, Kumar said in his complaint. "They beat me with belts and then stabbed me with knives," he added.
