Rohtak, Nov. 10 -- Kaithal police have arrested an auto-rickshaw driver for allegedly flashing and making objectionable, derogatory remarks at two Class 12 girls while they were on their way to school on November 7, police officials said on Sunday. The accused was produced before the court and sent to judicial custody on Saturday, they added. As per officials, the incident took place on November 7, when the two students, both minors, were on their way to their school. The whole incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the nearby area. The complaint was registered after the students approached the police, said Kaithal City station house officer (SHO) Geeta. "The girls told the police that they were not known to the man and had never seen him before. When we checked CCTV cameras in Kaithal city, we tracked the accused, who is an auto driver. He was arrested on Friday evening and produced before a local court on November 8. The accused was sent to judicial custody for 14 days," the SHO added. The SHO said that the accused was booked under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The Sonepat police have booked two persons for allegedly raping a woman on the pretext of providing her job in railways, at a hotel in Bahalgarh area on October 17, said officials. The accused have been identified as Rishabh and Gaurav. In her complaint, the woman told the police that she befriended Rishabh on social media and told him about the railways exam in which she appeared on August 7. "Rishabh called me to Murthal in Sonepat on the assurance of securing me a job in railways, on October 17, and he along with his friend Gaurav took me to a hotel after spiking my soft drink and raped me there. They also made the video of the act and threatened to share the video online if I told someone about the incident. I shared my location to one of my friends who rescued me from there," the complainant said. Bahalgarh police station assistant sub-inspector Neelam said that after probe both Rishabh and Gaurav were booked under sections 70(1) (gang-rape) and 351(3) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and a a hunt in on to trace them....
