Mohali, April 15 -- Ashmah International School, Sector- 70, Mohali celebrated Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jyanti on Monday. The school was decorated with charts, saffron flags and buntings made by the students. The staff and the students were dressed in colourful clothes for the occasion. The students presented a vibrant cultural programme highlighting the important day. The programme started with the shabad "Shubh karman te tab hu na darru". This was followed by speeches by the students on the historical importance of Baisakhi which marks the beginning of harvesting season of Punjab.
