Ashmah International School celebrates 'Van Mahotsav'
Mohali, July 29 -- Ashmah International School, Sector 70, in association with Rotary Club Chandigarh, celebrated Van Mahotsav by planting various types of trees and plants in and around the school campus. The school children participated in the event and pledged to look after the trees they planted. They also promised to plant trees in the city wherever feasible to find appropriate land for plantation.
Principal Suchi Grover expressed her happiness over the active participation of the students, stating, "Van Mahotsav is not just about planting saplings but also serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility towards Mother Earth. Watching our students plant trees with such enthusiasm and participate in discussions on environmental care gives us great hope for a brighter, greener future."
Director JS Kesar emphasised the school's commitment to environmental education, saying, "We motivate the new generation to take concrete steps in keeping their surroundings clean and green." The event concluded with a renewed pledge....
