Ashmah Int'l students plant saplings
Mohali, July 9 -- Ashmah International School, Sector 70, celebrated Van Mahotsav. The day began with a plantation drive in and around the campus, where students planted various saplings, contributing towards a greener tomorrow. Students showcased their understanding and creativity through speech competitions, poetry recitations, and poster-making contests - all centered around the importance of trees. Through these activities, the students learned valuable concepts about plantation, deforestation, and the crucial need to maintain ecological balance, developing a deeper appreciation for nature.
Principal Suchi Grover expressed her happiness over the active participation of the students and said that Van Mahotsav is not just about planting saplings but also serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility towards Mother Earth.
