Chandigarh, May 9 -- On the 108th day of the anti-gangster drive, Punjab Police on Friday conducted 548 raids across the state, leading to the detention of 261 people and recovery of five weapons. Officials said preventive action was also initiated against 126 individuals, while 34 persons were released after verification and questioning. Four proclaimed offenders were arrested during the operation. Punjab Police appealed to the public to share information related to gangsters and criminal activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline number 93946-93946.
