Anti-drug awareness campaign at DC Model Senior Sec School
Panchkula, July 21 -- In order to sensitise the students against drug abuse, the teachers and students of DC Model Senior Secondary School took an initiative to conduct various activities. Everyone participated whole heartedly.
The aim of the campaign was to make people aware of the fatal effects of taking drugs. A special assembly was conducted where the students were apprised of the ill-effects of drugs through a power point presentation and videos.
The managing director of the school, Bharat B Gupta himself shared some experiences with the students and motivated them to take a vow not to indulge in such activities and further encouraged them to be an active member of this campaign throughout their life.
Later the students made slogans and charts persuading everyone to remain away from such things. The primary wing of the school did not fail to contribute their participation in this campaign. Some of the posters were pasted on the school's notice boards so that the students can learn many new things looking at them. A nukkar natak was performed by the students on the same to make them aware that such kind of things will ruin their life completely. The students took pledge to say no to drugs. The students participated enthusiastically and made sure that the message spreads to every nook and corner of the school.
The principal Deepika Bhardwaj appreciated the efforts of all the teachers and students who participated in the campaign to spread the message at larger. Managing director informed the students that the campaign will remain a part of the school programme throughout the year....
