Annual athletic meet held at Shemrock Sen Sec School-69
Mohali, Nov. 25 -- The Annual Athletic Meet 2025 of Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, was a day dedicated to discipline, speed, and pride. The day began with a magnificent March Past and an enthusiastic opening ceremony. Children from Classes 3 to 5 marched with perfect symmetry and fervour, where every line narrated a story of practice, patience, and unwavering resolve.
On the athletic track, children from Classes 3 to 5 ran like sparks in the wind-the races were filled with courage, joy, and that unique Shemrock spirit. In every race, every child seemed unbreakable for a few unforgettable seconds, running not just to win, but to prove something to themselves.
The presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Karan Bajwa, Director, Shemrock Group, and the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Puneet Sohal, added prestige to the event.
In the glow of this golden morning, Cambridge House started the day with glory by winning the Air Commodore S. K. Sharma Memorial March Past Trophy. This victory was achieved step-by-step and breath-by-breath. By the afternoon, the energy gathered at the podium-medals were shining, dreams were sparkling. And once again, rising above the scoreboard and the roar of the applause, Cambridge House captured the Kabir Bajwa Memorial Athletic Meet Trophy, establishing their complete dominance in the field.
Addressing the students on this occasion, Chief Guest Karan Bajwa, Director, Shemrock Group, said, "I feel immense pride witnessing the discipline, sportsmanship, and passion of our children. Athletics teaches us never to give up, and today, I have seen this spirit in every child here. Congratulations to Cambridge House for their splendid victory, who demonstrated true persistence."
