India, May 17 -- A ctor Jayam Ravi, also known as Ravi Mohan, has issued a detailed statement on Instagram following estranged wife Aarti Ravi's public remarks and his recent appearance with rumoured girlfriend Bengaluru-based singer and healer Kenishaa Francis (bottom inset). In an emotionally charged note, the actor alleged emotional and financial abuse during his marriage, calling Kenishaa a "lifeline" who stood by him at his lowest. "All these years I was being stabbed in the back, now I'm only glad that I'm being stabbed in the chest," he wrote in the caption, adding, "First and final one from my desk! With love, Ravi Mohan. Live and let live." Ravi and Aarti, who tied the knot in 2009 and share two sons, separated in 2024 after Ravi filed for divorce. Aarti later accused him of walking out without explanation. In his note, Ravi alleged being denied access to his children and said his silence was for survival, not weakness. But decided to speak up after being targeted with "twisted truths" and "fabricated claims". Claiming that only his close circle knows the real reason behind his divorce, Ravi also expressed disappointment over not being allowed to meet his children, who he called his "eternal pride." Addressing speculation about his relationship with Kenishaa, he seemed to confirm their bond, describing her as someone who helped him walk away from a life that "nearly broke" him. "She was a friend who chose to save a drowning man... who became a lifeline of support when I had nothing but tears, blood, and the courage to walk away," he wrote, recalling the night he left his home "barefoot, in a night suit, stripped of wallet and dignity."
