Amanjot has had a good tour: England coach Edwards
New Delhi, July 22 -- Having bossed cricket as a player and now regarded as one of the best minds in the game, England women's head coach Charlotte Edwards recognises talent when she sees it.
Since transitioning into coaching, she has led Mumbai Indians to two titles in the Women's Premier League, the Southern Vipers to the first two Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy titles, Southern Braves to two finals and a title in the Hundred. She has also led Sydney Sixers to a final in the Women's Big Bash League.
She is particularly impressed by Indian seam-bowling all-rounder Amanjot Kaur.
Kaur scored 75 runs at an average of 75 in the four T20Is and picked up three wickets.
"I think Amanjot Kaur was really impressive throughout the T20 series," Edwards told HT in an interview facilitated by Sony Sports.
"I've worked with her at Mumbai (Indians) and she can open the bowling. I think she's really, really stepped up," Edwards said. HTC...
