India, Dec. 7 -- A year after the tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad, actor Allu Arjun and producer Dil Raju, chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, have moved to quell growing criticism by publicly confirming that more than Rs.3.20 crore has already been extended to the family of Sritej, an eight-year-old boy who was hospitalised with critical injuries while his mother Revathi died during the tragic incident. The funds include a Rs.1.5 crore fixed deposit in his name, and monthly disbursements of Rs.75,000 meant to cover living and medical expenses. The announcement came after Sritej's father had claimed the family was receiving no further help.
