AKSIPS-45 hosts session on tobacco awareness
Chandigarh, May 14 -- Tobacco use is a significant public health concern, particularly among youth. The tobacco industry's aggressive marketing and appealing flavours have led to a surge in tobacco use among young people, posing serious health risks. AKSIPS 45 Smart School recently organised an awareness session on 'Protecting Youth from Tobacco' for the students of Class 7, educating students about the tobacco products, its causes, effects of such substances on our body and mental processes and call to action for such practices. The session was conducted by the school counsellor Bharti Chaudhary and it aimed to empower students with knowledge and encourage them to avoid the use of tobacco. Following the session, students shared their personal experiences towards the consequences of tobacco usage, committing to contribute towards a society where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
