Chandigarh, Dec. 29 -- Under the aegis of Jasdeep Kalra, executive director, AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools, and principal Ritu Bali, students of Class 6 and 7 at AKSIPS-41, Chandigarh, embarked on a one-day educational trip to Kurukshetra, immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage and scientific advancements of India. The students visited the sacred Brahma Sarovar and witnessed the magnificent 42-ton bronze chariot of Krishna and Arjuna. At Jyotisar, the revered site where Lord Krishna imparted the eternal wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna, they delved into the epic history of the Mahabharata. The educational journey continued at the Sri Krishna Museum, where they viewed stunning paintings, sculptures, and manuscripts depicting Lord Krishna's life and the Mahabharata. They then visited the Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre, which provided an insightful blend of ancient Indian scientific knowledge and its modern applications. Engaging in interactive science exhibits and games, they deepened their understanding of various scientific concepts. Students explored the wonders of space, astronomy, and the concept of time, fostering their curiosity about the universe at the Kalpana Chawla Planetarium.
