AKSIPS-41 student wins Rs.1L scholarship
Chandigarh, May 15 -- Akshata Verma of Class 9-C of AKSIPS-41 Smart School brought pride to the institution by winning a scholarship of Rs.1 lakh in the "Classmate All Rounder National Finals 2024-25" (junior category).
She was one of the four winners selected from across India on this platform, where students from schools nationwide competed for the title of "Best Classmate All Rounder."
This initiative celebrates holistic development, evaluating students on skills aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP), such as critical thinking, Indian cultural awareness, sports, ethics, values, and environmental sustainability.
Akshata's journey began with her topping the GK test at the school-level.
She then excelled in the city/state-level rounds, securing top positions in sports, GK test, and the talent hunt round, where she showcased her gymnastic skills.
At the national-level, Akshata cleared the IQ and fitness tests, aced the critical thinking round by contributing to a STEM team project (creating a floating aluminium model that could hold the maximum number of coins), and delivered a skit on anti-bullying.
Her performance, talent, and commitment to values earned her the title.
Jasdeep Kalra, executive director of AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools, and Ritu Bali, principal of AKSIPS-41, lauded Akshata's achievement. They also commended "Classmate All-Rounder" for fostering all-round excellence....
