Chandigarh, May 27 -- In an initiative to enhance historical awareness and promote experiential learning, students of Class 6 of AKSIPS-41 Smart School visited the Archaeological Museum, Ropar. The visit was organised as part of the school's educational tour programme aimed at providing students with first-hand exposure to India's rich archaeological and cultural heritage. The museum is known for its extensive collection of artifacts from the Harappan civilisation to the medieval period. Students explored galleries showcasing pottery, coins, tools, sculptures, and inscriptions. Special emphasis was given to the Harappan Gallery, where students learnt the ancient settlement at Ropar and its significance in the Indus Valley Civilisation.
