AKSIPS-41 organises an inter-house competition marking Earth Day event
Chandigarh, April 29 -- Commemorating Earth Day, AKSIPS-41 organised an engaging inter-house poster-making competition on 22 April 2025 to instil environmental awareness and responsibility among its students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with four students from each house taking part in two different categories.
Category 1 featured the themes "Restore Our Earth" and "One Earth, One Chance," while category 2 focused on "Go Green, Breathe Clean" and "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."
Students expressed their deep concern and affection for Mother Earth through vibrant, thought-provoking artwork.
Their posters portrayed a fragile planet-depicted as Mother Earth standing on the edge, witnessing the stark reality of environmental degradation yet holding onto hope for a saviour to rescue her from looming disaster.
Various artistic mediums were skilfully used to convey strong environmental messages. The event not only encouraged creativity but also served as a heartfelt reminder of our collective duty to protect and preserve our planet for future generation.
The results of the competition are as follows: category 1 (Classes 7-8): First position was won by Pravanya (Class 8A, Einstein House)
The second position was bagged by Brisha (Class 8B, Shakespeare House)
In category 2 (Classes 9-10):
First position was secured by Avantika (Class 9A, Einstein House)
and second position went to Saanvi (Class 10A, Einstein House).
