AIIMS doctor booked for 'distributing sweets' after Pahalgam attack
Dehradun, May 19 -- A junior resident doctor at AIIMS Rishikesh has been booked for allegedly distributing sweets at the hospital on April 23, a day after the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people, police said on Sunday.
Senior sub inspector Vinod Kumar of Rishikesh Police said that a complaint was received by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Rishikesh president Rajendra Pandey saying that the "doctor distributed sweets to celebrate the heinous killings of tourists" and "hurt the sentiments of people". The FIR was registered under BNS sections 196 (1) (a), 196 (1) (b), and 197 (1) (a) on May 16. "An investigation is underway," he said.htc...
